Malinalco is one of the safest and most welcoming towns in Mexico. Most people work in agriculture, arts and crafts and land development. It is considered one of the most beautiful Pueblos Magicos. 

It is best to rent a taxi cab from the registered taxis at the Airport. Price ranges between $90 and $100 usd each way. Otherwise, contact Lilia or David at 415 395 6002, or email: LIRIOroman@gmail.com. Casa XiMALI can pick you up.

Yes, you may shorten your stay and leave anytime you need to. 

Yes, you may sign up for two or three days, or for whatever length of time is convenient for you. We have a per day/night price. 

Yes, you may stay longer. Other fees apply to longer stays. We’ll be happy to host you!

Yes, you may bring your daughter if she is twelve years old, or older. 

Yes, men are allowed in certain retreats after a short interview and questionnaire. We have Educational Programs where everybody, regardless of their gender, are allowed. We welcome people regardless of their gender or sexual orientation. Casa XiMALI is a very safe place for everybody. 

Yes, you can. Please book your retreat in advance. Prices vary depending on the number of people and what you will require in terms of food, workshops, tours, etc.

It is usually very comfortable weather between the low 70s and low 80s. Bring a light jacket for cool evenings. 

January, February, June, July, August, September, October, November and December. It is great weather and great celebrations.

May, June, July, August, September and part of October.

Yes, the months of January and December are very dry.

April has an average maximum temperature of 28 degrees celsius and is the warmest month of the year.

– The Trout Village – El Corredor de las Truchas. Malinalco is known for its delicious trout. At this place, you can pick your own trout from the pristine running water and have it cooked the way you like it. 
– Mezcal sites: Places where farmers make the Mezcal artesanal.
– Wood art galleries.
– Malinalco Guided Tours to rivers, mountains and caves. You may go on guided hikes, rent a motorcycle to see the entire town, do rappel, or walk by a beautiful river. 
– Chalma – This is a religious center where people honor el Senor de Chalma.  It is also the largest pilgrimage center where thousands of people gather every year to celebrate and honor La Virgen de Guadalupe. The largest gathering after La Basilica de Guadalupe of Mexico City.
