Come and stay at our Casa XiMALI, a place that offers a warm, welcoming environment to all who wish to learn about the beautiful traditions of Mexican culture. You will love our peaceful, family environment, our educational tours and programs, our food prepared daily with local produces, our outdoor swimming pool and jacuzzi. 

Whether you come solo or are part of a retreat or educational Program, Casa XiMALI will offer you:

  • Exciting Tours to: Malinalco Archeological site, local markets, museums and convents. Visits to communities and towns such as Tenancingo, the rebozo (shawl) town, and meet rebozos weavers who use up to 6,400 cotton warp threads on a back strap loom; explore Taxco, a beautiful, colonial silver town;  Xochicalco, a mesoamerican archeological site with an ecological, state of the arts museum; Las Estacas, a most beautiful and pristine river where you can swim, snorkel, or scuba dive.
  • Explore beautiful sightseeing.
  • Walks and hikes.
  • Spanish Classes.
  • Conscious Tourism (learn about what farmers and the youth are doing to preserve the land and take care of the environment).
  • Massages or Sobadas (deep body work).
  • Curanderismo workshops (Mexican Traditional Medicine with Mexican Healers).
  • TEMAZCAL Ceremony to cleanse your body from the inside out and connect mind, body and spirit.
  • Lectures and workshops with local authors, Parteras (midwives), Curanderas (Mexican Healers), Activists, anthropologists, and others.
 

RELAXATION

Lush Nature and Deep Healing

You may come by yourself, with your family, or with a group. At Casa XiMALI you will make friends and find a family and great people who will guide you to exciting places.

FEES
 
Personal retreats:
$185 per day / one night.
$225 per day in 2025.
 
It includes:
  • Private room.
  • Three meals.
  • Fruit, coffee / tea during the day.
  •  Jacuzzi, swimming pool, fire place and other areas of rest.
  • Temazcal Ceremony, Indigenous sweat lodge (optional and only for people who stay longer than 4 days).
  • Guided Tours to areas of Interest such as Malinalco Archaeological site, Dr. Mario Schneider Museum, Tenancingo Rebozo Town, the Augustine Convent founded in 1540.
  • Walks, gentle hikes, and visit to local markets (if you stay one day, we can only visit one place).
  • Two to three Spanish classes per week.
  • Conversational Spanish upon request.
  • Visit local artists, galleries, and meet people who are making the Malinalco culture thrive. 
Extra things we offer:
  • Towels and bath soap

  • TV only in the living room (until 10pm)
What we do not offer:
  • Hair dryer
  • Shampoo and Conditioner
  • Body lotion
Things to bring:
  • Warm, layered clothing and other light, comfortable clothes for the day

  • Medications (there are only two pharmacies downtown)
  • Shampoo and conditioner
  • Water bottle (no glass)
  • Hiking or walking shoes
  • Sunscreen
Please do not bring into your room any flammable object such as candles or incense, any illicit drugs, cigarets, pets, or expensive valuables. 
 
DISCOUNT
For stays of 1 month or longer, we will apply a 10% off of the total amount.
 
Shared room (if you bring your friend):
$40 extra per person, per day. Up to three people can stay in one room. All rooms have their own bath.
 
MASSAGES / SOBADAS: $50 per session. It includes deep body work and limpia (Traditional Mexican energetic cleansing).

Delicous Food

All meals are vegetarian and made with local and organic produce (as much as possible). 
We may prepare chicken or fish upon request. 
You are free to use the kitchen and prepare your own meals, if you wish.
 
OTHER BEAUTIFUL EXPLORATIONS – Extra fees apply to visits to:
 
  • Xochicalco (one of the most important archaeological sites of all mesoamerican cultures, about a 45 minute ride).
  • Las Estacas (a beautiful, pristine river; about an hour ride). You may swim, snorkel and/or scuba dive.
  • Grutas de Cacahuamilpa (about an hour ride).
  • Taxco, silver town (about an hour ride).
  • Mexico City, and others. 
TRANSPORTATION FEES:
It includes a guide, transportation, and fee entrance:
Tenancingo $50 (If you are five people, $10 each).
Xochicalco $100 (If you are five people, $20 each).
Las Estacas $100 (same as above, plus entrance fees).
Grutas $100 (same as above).
Taxco $100 (same as above).
Mexico City $300 (If you’re five people, $60 each).
