About Yoga in the Work Place
Yoga has been proven to be an effective and accessible way to boost wellness and productivity at work. Yoga at Work is specifically used to help people connect to a sense of overall well-being and balance.
The goal is to help people release tension, stress, strengthen their body, and bring them into a deep state of relaxation so they can go back to work fully recharged and with a clear mind.
I develop my classes based on the students’ needs, interests, experience, and so on. Everybody can practice yoga, regardless of their level of experience or flexibility. Classes can be from 15 minutes to two hours. You choose the length. We do stretches to release tension and tightness, standing poses to energize and balance, and forward folds to release spine and go inward. All poses, linked with breath awareness and a few minutes of meditation, are used to help my students balance emotions, energies, and to deeply relax.
Yoga at work is becoming increasingly popular. Among the many benefits are:
- Stress reduction
- Clear mind
- Less body aches and pains
- More energy throughout the day
- More connection to others so team-work becomes more effective and productive
Do I need to have a yoga studio? No, you only need a space where people can set up their mats. I also teach Chair Yoga where a chair is used to go through the practice that has the same effects as a regular practice.

“Tomorrow is my last day as the CEO of this company and, unfortunately, I missed today’s yoga session in the office. I wanted to thank our instructor, Lilia, for all her classes. I’ve enjoyed them and greatly benefited from them.”
